annoying safari windows

anyone know how to stop safari widows from jumping to the top of the screen all the time when they are moved around. they don't always do this and sometimes they stay put. there doesn't appear to be a pattern to this and quitting/relaunching safari doesnt help. has anyone else noticed this.
 
I don't exactly understand what you're referring to, but Safari, upon quitting, typically saves the position of the last window on the screen. When you relaunch Safari, you'll usually get the same position screen.
 
Does this happen at a particular site? Sounds like a site which is using javascript to maximize the window/control it's size. Other than that, it never happens to me either.
