Ahh, its getting worse all the time! Now just a screen dimming from inactivity is doing it.

I have kernal panics that seem to revovle around Safari and Mail. They only happen under my user name, which just happens to be the admin. I followed the FAQ, nothing helped. So unless someone has a drastic idea, I thnk I'm probably going to clean install. I don want to, but I will if I must...

Simple as that. Computer will sleep, and screen will turn off when it does, but my screen wont sleep on its own.

Ok, but then why should I have problems closing it though? I think I may have found the solution to the first one. Saft has a setting known as "block html refreshing". I believe that should do it.

I just let cocktail do its pilot. System and internet cache clean, permissions repair, log rotate (dont know what that does), and cron scripts. For Safari, its also useful to clean out icons and history. Then just like once I notice those dont fix a slowdown, I restart and its back up to pure...

Reboot. Everything speeds up again. Happens when you leave it on for weeks. Also, running the cron scripts helps. Get cocktail, and run the pilot every few days. It automatically repairs permissions, cleans caches, runs cron scripts, and rotates log files. If safari is the slow one, clear your...
