Along with the other thoughts, if you can make it a go and install, I would strongly recommend more RAM. 192 MB is not even bare minimum.

Howdy. There are several issues, but the key will fonts. Make sure you have the same fonts (there are several free Hebrew fonts, and you can use Unicode in OS X 10.3 and 10.4). I'm not sure about the right-to-left direction, that may be a problem.

What system are you using? Have you trashed the preferences file? What about all updates to Office X? Try mactopia to check for updates and problem issues.

Can you post the code that was used on the Windows side? I use XL for Windows every day, but have adapted several pieces of code for the Mac.
