    Strange dock behavior

I am completely new to unix etc. like i'm sure a lot of you are. I don't know if this normal behavior or not, but it seems quite odd to me. let me try to explain, perhaps someone can duplicate this and tell me if its weird. I have my dock positioned on the left, with an applications folder...

    PATCH

Well, going from 4L5 to 4L7 didn't require any sort of reinstall or cause a system barf as you put it, and I don't really think that going to the "final" update will either, but you never know. I'll just remain optimistic, and continue my "unnoficial beta testing"

    os x 4L7

I'll tell you one thing that i did notice with 4L7 that was different. The finder actually remembers now that I had my last finder window open as column view, and it opens that way each time now. It did not before. Other than that, i dunno.

    AIM Supported MacOS X HERE!!!!

syncing your buddylist shouldn't be so bad, just do it once, then grab the fire folder out of your library and just put it on the other comps when you install fire on them. not a biggie, just sync it once.

Fire has officially removed AIM support

Ok, done, i think. idisk account Teronzhul. tell me if i didn't do it right, but i think i did. .24a seems to have issues with msn, every time i try to log in it instantly crashes. also seems to have problems saving its prefs? perhaps its best to save prefs with .23b, and then use .24a...

    OS X 4L5

hmm, i think mine may be slower with 4L5, and yes, i did restart. launching omniweb took FOREVER this last time. As did launching help viewer, far longer than they did before. other stuff seems about the same though, but i havn't really noticed a speed increase anywhere that i can speak of...

Fire has officially removed AIM support

Read it at epicware. I'm sad. .24a was supposed to fix this, then it wasn't on the server when i tried to dl it, and now .24b is there with this message.
