I am reinstalling from CD on my G4 400mhz and just before the install completes I get a message that there were errors encountered and the install dies. I checked the CDs before installing, any ideas on how to find out what is happening? Thanks, Brian

Ripcord, Please enough of this "upgrade" paranoia. Only the propeller heads among us (and I include myself) actually upgrade our systems and it is usually for uses unintentional or too many rainy days cause us to push the envelope, but the majority of mac and p.c. users only upgrade the memory...

If I don't have the projector pluged in I plug in the S-video to RCA adapter. This fools the PowerBook into thinking there is a monitor pluged in. So to recap for LC, I plug in the S-RCA adaptor with the PB open start iTunes then close the lid.

DeltaMac collect one wizard badge for the helpful tip that corrected my problem. Lurking in my user/library folder was a 0k file with the name Addresses. Once I had dragged it to the trash the AddressBook launched normally, thanks.:)
