what do you do with your mac? internet, e-mail, music?? if that's all any PCI power mac running 8.x will work (if you get iTunes for OS 8) fine for what you need. if you needed graphics (which you said you dont) even the first iMac or any G3 would be fine, and you've got a G4, that should do...

on of my wintel 'friends' from college got a 15" iMac with 10.2 a few weeks back, not sure what build though. and he wouldnt give me the iPod he got, he sold it instead. and the worst thing is he thinks macs suck, no justice.
