Your Mac can play HD videos from your hard drive, but it can't read HD DVDs. You can play the HD videos on iTunes, but can't go to a store and buy an HD DVD.

You could reinstall Mac OS with the CDs that came with your Mac. It will not mess up your data. But how did you mess it up in the first place.

I know you can do that but I want something easier to use (I can select a date then find a file or select a file and show all revisions).

I did find a program called Back-in-Time but it costs. Is there no free program out there? It could be easily coded, so if I don't find anything I will make it myself.

How are you connecting to the internet? You should have all of your internet provider's information set up in your router (username, password, etc...).

You need to open Time Machine Preferences then Options and exclude your disk image. You can copy it to a the Time Machine disk so that you have one copy.

Is there another interface alternative to Time Machine? It is slow (it does look cool) and the job could be more easily done with something simpler. Is there such a program? Thanks

The only way to do that is via the OSx86 project. It violates Apple's EULA so there are legal issues. Besides, it is also very picky about your hardware.

You can try Bean. I don't know whether or not it supports Japanese but it is pretty nice.

Once you select "White on Black" it should stay that way as long as it is enabled. If it doesn't stay enabled, click the lock in the corner to lock it.

I know it is bootable, but is it reliable. Will the flash stop working after X amount of boots (where X is a number 25 or lower)?

How reliable is booting off a flash drive? I have a Kingston 4GB that I want to boot off. Could I boot off of it regularly? I am installing Tiger on it now. Thanks

Sorry :( I have to run a Mac program on the drive so I can do what I want, so that is why I can't use Virtualbox (Unless it can mount disk images in the host system).
