I love my mac and can do everything i need except one thing. i'm sick of waiting for games... and i know that things are getting better but I WANT DOOM III now!!! and i would feel kindof sick to my stomache if i built a PC... oh well.

the prefs thing doens't work because i wanted to keep it executing /usr/bin/login, but the NetInfo works. thanks again damn NetInfo... wonderful in the end but painful for migration from NetBSD...

you've done everything fine except for the last thing. you have to target the display to yourself. so lets say you were on a compa and you sshed into compb with: ssh -X user@compb then once you were in you would type set env 'DISPLAY=compa:10.0' then you can run unix programs on compb and...
