Something which also really boosts speed is to quit the Finder when you are running VPC. You may need some 3rd Party software to do this.

Get the Official DivX codec from DivX.com and the 3ivX codec. That will play DivX files and XVid files fine with Quicktime.

Managed to get Apple to replace my Powerbook....that means I will be getting Panther for FREE! YAY!

I have had a mystery file appear on my HD. It is named gmon.out and appears that it cannot be deleted. What is this file? Is it safe to delete? How can it be deleted? Thanks in advance :)
