Hi all, I've set up a second G4 running OS9.2.2 and this G4 is networked to my first G4. Now I'd like to remove OS9.2.2 from the partition on my first machine and unlink the Classic option from the OSX System Preferences ... sort of going backwards if you like. I seem to have lost the startup...

Zammy, Quick response - thanks. Unfortunately, that file does not exist anyway. I think the problem is more fundamental than that. But thanks for your help. I use KoalaCalc as a substitute, but curiosity never hurt anyone, and it would be nice to know what the problem is. tonyl

Thanks for that DeltaMac. You are correct of course. There was the addition of a PCI drive adapter card (although my supplier seemed unaware of the 160Gb limit on drives at first). Not sure where he got the card from, but I doubt if a later version is available (although I will enquire)...
