Apple should have something for classic where it saves the classic state for quick start up (like in Virtual PC). That would be very nice :). Too bad apple isn't accepting anymore requests.... :(

I think that apple just did this naming thing to get everyone to talk about it! Like a conspearacy or something ;)! About the thing that there are no office suits avalable for os x, apple is including apple works with os x!

Considering the beta is only out for apple systems, I dont think that that message means apple is making os x for x86 (but you never know). It would be nice though if I could get an apple system on a cheep pc......

Actually, i have never ran Oni under any pre os x beta system. UFS format may be the problem... I know that there are other problems with that format and that apple recomends against it (or rather it recomends HFS). If you dont have anything important on the drive, i recomend reformating to...

Oni works fine on my computer.... I never had a problem with it. It is a realy good game, just a bit slow....

Ok, i downloaded AfterStep and WindowManager from stepwise.com..... how exactly do I install these? They look like source....

I did this, but now no window manager loads up.... I don't think I installed Afterstep correctly (I did give a few errors while i did the "make install" command). where did you get your window manager? Were the pre compiled? Thanx!

I am a unix newbie, so I am not sure if this will help, but: you can hold down 'v' durring startup (verbose startup). All it does is go into text mode up until the login window comes up. I am not sure, but it might have some useful information to you..... Good Luck!
