I got 2 Kernel Panics today on my iMac (333 Mhz Tray Loading) running 10.2 and Dave 4.0... I wasn't here for either of them, but they tell me no one was even at the Mac, it just came up by itself... I am 99.9% sure that no one was accessing it through the network, and the kernel panic logs do...

before 10.2, with the use of tinker tool I could make screen shots taken with command-shift-3 or 4 save as jpg's or gifs.... but now I can only get them to save as pdf's, and that option is greyed out in tinker tool... anyone know how to change the format it saves screens shots in, in 10.2?

when you initialize your hard drive you have the option of installing the drivers it needs to run, or be seen in os 9...

if unplugging the sound sticks fixes it, even if it is temporary, it sounds like it may be a driver issue with the sound sticks... have you updated to 10.2.1?

have you tried un-plugging the sound sticks, then plugging them back in?

open up the terminal, and as long as you are an admin type the following: sudo rm -r then one space, then drag the folder that you want deleted to the terminal (that will put the path in automatically) and hit enter, it should ask for a password, and then it will be gone...

I had that prob till I updated to 10.2.1 ... havn't had the problem since..

No matter what city I select I get "Could not retrive weather & Temp for this city" when I try to update weatherpop. It never displays any info, just question marks... this started friday, any one else having this problem?
