Thanks David I am unfamiliar with disktool. Can you elaborate? Also, I've tried unmount <volume name> and keep getting an Unknown Command response. Does it make a difference that I'm in the Volumes directory at the time of issuing the unmount command?

What is the terminal command to unmount a volume? I've found that whenever my internet connection lapses, I lose access to my windows volume. And even if I eject the alias, it's still registers as mounted, which keeps me from remounting it so I can access it. Thank you.:D

Okay, last time the help viewer was in the habit of crashing it was because of a Lexmark bug. Well, that bug is not an issue, yet Help Viewer crash and burns about a second after launching. I tried to delete the preferences, but that made no difference.
