    Chimera programmer feeling way down...

Tabs are not compatible with the official Apple GUI guidelines afaik. So you'll not see tabbed windows in Safari (at least not before Apple substantially reforms their GUI or hell freezes over :D ).

    Wireless Networking

I think you can use the "Apple System Profiler" to find out if you have an Airport card installed. It'll be in Applications/Utililties on OSX or in the Apple menu on OS9.

    10.2.1 Server Apache problem

A couple of days I installed Jag server. Everything's cool and nice except (once again  ) for Apple's hampering with Apache. Out of the box they don't only disable mod_auth, they even replace it (as I guess) with a non working mod_auth_apple. Now, could anyone here tell me to how I can...

Apps open in a snap, window dragging is aceptably fast (8MB AGP), Finder performs as it should. Only networking can be annoying at times...

Mac OS X and [officially supported] older hardware

I'd love to see all the 'older' hardware fully supported under MacOS X as actually promised to us by Apple. I own a Wallstreet Powerbook an there's a couple of things that I am not particularly happy about: 1. SCSI support is very poor. It can't be that hard to offer better SCSI support. I...
