The PB for myself and the IB for my girlfriend for valentines. :) I must say, they both rock. I was tempted to get the 12" PB and have the FW800/AE but realistically I dont have a need for either :) So this suits me fine. Ill get some pictures of them both when I can!

Yeah, I ordered mine from nextbyte.com.au, one of the local applecentres. I actually ordered a dual 1.25, then woke up next morning and checked news and saw the price drop and higher spec. I was like "Uh." and changed my order :P

I ordered the new high end powermac and the estimated delivery is 4-6weeks. Is there any chance it'll arrive before then? A month, sucks!

Just a little note for everyone to think about... I switched my parents, I heavily emphasised how much better a new iMac would be and told them it wouldn't crash, etc, etc, etc. They love the look of it, and seem happy with the idea... So we pick it up, I install it and off they go...

Well, I guess I'll give it til the end of February. If there's nothing out by then I may just buy a cheap G3 off ebay and use that until they release new powermacs.

I check the apple store, macnn, macosx.com, macslash, macosrumors and macrumors.com about 3 times a day hoping for a pmac update :P

I just bought a digital video camera. Using virtualdub on the pc is so poor in comparison to iMovie hehe. Time to steal my sisters mac I think.

Heh. As slow as OSX is, its still better than anything on PC. But, I would like to think that OSX will be quicker in a years time, on better hardware etc.

After two months without a mac I'm f*cking sick of PCs. I regret selling my mac, but I look forward to buying a new one in 2004, or 2003. Depending how long I can last.

Actually I loved my mac. I sold it to buy a motorbike. I will buy a mac again in a year or two, the current crop of processors run apps that I use poorly. I had a dual ghz machine and I found these things frustrating: Internet Explorer was dog slow. Every other competing browser kind of...
