    Which directories to backup?

I'm setting up a backup system using hfspax and cron, and am wondering what directories I should back up to make recovery the easiest. I don't want to back up everything, because given the change for a clean install, I'd rather keep as much of the new install as possible, and just restore my...

    appleworks 6.2?

so I bought it and it's pretty good. the fact that it can import pretty much any file is excellent, and while the options are a bit more basic than Office - for $70 it does the job quite well. E

Os X Can Read Windows Hard Drives?

I'm moving from Windows to OS X, and loving every second of it. My only drawback (i thought) was that I'd have to reburn my mp3's from all of my CD's (4000+ songs). but when I attached the Hd I had in my Pc to my Apple and booted up - it seemed to work just fine (PC drive was partitioned in...

    OSX 10.1 review by: vic

Actually - you can choose a custom picture. there is alist of regular stuff (cats (pumas, cheetas, etc - get it?), landscapes, various X's), but you can also open finder and select a picture. I didn't try it so I dunno if it resizes it and whatnot. E
