Okay I was trying to use OS X on one of the G4's from school... So like I do at home I booted into OS X ...now it should have installed already but appearently it wasn't... So the computer petty much would not start and we had to reinstall everything... Okay so it worked fine for like two...

I resently tried to rewrite on CD from Toast Titanium and appeantly u can't just add files to the ones already there... Fine so I tried to erase the disc and instead of doing a quick erase i did a regular erase and it just stayed trying to erase it endlessly until i had to do a forse quit...

Are dead pixels Manufacturing defects or can u just get them over time I hope not because I just the New iMac I haven't noticed anything but i'm worried !!!!

I believe the superdrive will only support DVD-R I've got a superdrive too I haven't tried burning any DVD's but why don't u try to burn on the DVD-R that your sistem came with

I tried to boot into OS X in one of the computers in school but it does'nt have OS X (which I did'nt know) and now it does'nt start what do I do well it starts but there's some black letters and the screen is gray how do I boot into OS 9 please help !!!!!

I thougt the specs were 24x write 6x DVD 2x DVD-R 8x CD-R 4x CD-RW it doesn't read that slow

The New iMac is pretty darn cool I got one and so far it's pretty fast i've got 512 of RAM but it should be all right with 256 it's got a GeForce 2 MX graphics card that's pretty good

Aren't there DVD ripping tools out there that eneble u to copy DVD in your Super Drive ?

What's the deal with Firewire it's patented by Apple right, so they invented it right And not many PC's come it right I saw a Dell on QVC and they were calling it 1394 cable before they said it was firewire
