I have a used Dell Sata drive. It's a 4TB. It reads on Disk Utility as 1.8T. I formatted and ran first aid. It still reads as 1.8TB in size. Is there a way to make this drive a 4TB again?

I received the Radeon 9000. It worked without additional software. It has DVI and the old Apple Display Connector. While researching the card, I found an installer for a control panel. I installed it. It gave me the option to change the display mode for interlaced DVDs. It's working fine.

DeltaMac - Exactly. Correctomundo! Soon I will be taking delivery of a Radeon 9000. I'll give it a try. I have used a video cable from DVI to HDMI. Once the output is digital, there are options. So far the delivery is set for tomorrow.

SG - Yes, that's a good idea. I tried it myself. VGA is analog. You can't get a digital connection from it.

Hi Delta Mac - My card is VGA only, no DVI plug. I have a Dell monitor with VGA, DVI and HDMI. The DVI is obviously more versatile. I don't have a part number on the two port card that shipped on the G4 I have. Mactracker lists both cards, but no part #s.

OWC isn't covering a mac as old as mine.

My Mac G4 AGP graphics is a 500 MHz with 2 Gigs of RAM. It's model PowerMac3,1. The video card is a ATI Radeon 7500 that outputs only to VGA. A VGA to DVI adapter doesn't work to monitor's DVI input. Only the VGA works. I did a search on the G4 graphics options and I didn't come up with much...

DeltaMac - Thanks for the heads up. I am running the 160 G and the 80 G drives. The CD/DVD drive is running. When I get the jumpers tomorrow, I'll add the 40 G, as per your instructions. Bill

I'm restoring a G4 AGP graphics Graphite. It had two drives an 80 gig and a 40 gig. I installed OS 10.4.5 on the 80 gig. OS 10.4.4 was working from the 80 gig. I installed a Classic 9 on the 40 gig. It was working too. The 80 gig had no jumper. The 40 gig has a jumper on the 'cable select'...
