    Keynote vs. Powerpoint

This is the stupidest idea I've ever seen. I can see Apple' strategic plan on this one--go through the back door with presentation software--but it's not going to catch on. They've just been wasting time.

Tell me what announcement will require 2h hours of Steve the Wizzard

:D <-- me laugh long time. As long as Steve doesn't get caught in the cross-fire. No matter how much people think he's a rock-star, that doesn't mean I want to see him in tight leather pants and a wet t-shirt.

Tell me what announcement will require 2h hours of Steve the Wizzard

If the Hooters Girls will be there, then I'm all for a two hour presentation.

    Stupid Move on Apple's part

Maybe it's not the idea but the igit trying to implement it. In this case, Steve Jobs. (No need to reply, I'm just being a wise ass).

Survey: What DON'T you like about how OSX behaves?

Stupid OS tricks. 1. Get rid of the dock. It's useless when trying to get work done. ("Scrubbing" to find an application is pure insanity--not to mention constantly navigating between a MENU BAR locked at the top of the screen and a DOCK at the bottom.) 3. Clock does not show internet...

*LEAKED* 20 things to expect at MWSF!!

I've just received some news from an anonymous source regarding MWSF. Here it is: 1. The event will be held in San Francisco. 3. There should be refreshments available. 4. Men will probably outnumber women attendees. 5. People might be wearing pants. 6. Steve Jobs may grow a beard...

    Something big at MWSF?!

The 11 Announcements: 1. Do not have false gods. Steve Jobs is your savior. 2. Do not speak Steve Jobs name in vein. 3. Keep holy the day of MWSF. 4. Honor your mouse and keyboard. They will be wireless. 5. Do not su do kill. Our software is stable. 6. Do not use a PC. It is...

    Something big at MWSF?!

He wasn't an employee and at this point nobody has proven that Juan even exists. Hyperbole... don't give in... As far as "expecting" anything from MWSF... I agree with the previous post and wouldn't set one's sights so high as the fall might be too great when Apple has nothing worth...

    OS X Swingers Club...

Women are funny things. They have this amazing ability to bare children. I think it has something to do with the womb. Whatever you do, if you're a man, don't believe that women want to be rich. They just want unlimited access to shopping malls and credit cards. You don't have to be rich to...

    New Computer Store

Today I walked into the store to buy a new core system for my home. I needed an upgrade because I wanted to increase some of the functions around my house. When I got to the desk, the man sold me a new CPU module that plugged into my existing system. I would be able to download the upgrade...

Good audio application for cleaning up old music records ??

Yeah that's fine as long as you ground the turntable (you'd get a loud hum if you didn't anyway). Good luck! :)

Good audio application for cleaning up old music records ??

Ahhh wait a minute guys... whatever you do don't try to plug a turntable into a computer, the turntable isn't grounded! Make sure you use an amp. I know Sonic Foundry makes software that cleans up records (clicks & pops)--but that's PC :(

    XML acronym sweeper?

I'm trying to find a way to have an xml file sweep for acronyms from a list. (i.e., the xml file finds acronyms that match a list and applies the correct markup tags). If anyone has seen anything like this, please help. Thanks in advance. PS. In case anyone doesn't know about this...

    Getting PHP to parse .html?

You may need to install a new build of php or perhaps your permissions are not set properly. This is just a guess--I haven't had this problem.

Cute little address bar icon in Chimera... How?

A long time ago I posted the same question. Symphonix came up with the mini tutorial so you don't have to click through all the webmonkey BS. The file is in windows ICO format (I think Iconographer will allow you to create this format). It can be 32 x 32 or 16 x 16 pixels. It can use 4-bit...
