I've looked. Sadly, there isn't. Maxis (since being acquired by EA) hasn't been nice to Mac users. Luckily, Aspyr has stepped in. Some company (Loki, iirc) ported SC3k over to Linux, so it isn't impossible for a Mac OS X version, if only someone would step in and do the dirty work.

And you know this... how? Not to say you're wrong. Its just no one has been able to confirm this, nor will they be able to until the 24th or whenever Apple posts the build in the specs or KBase.

That's what it does mean. I got 10.2 the morning of the 24th, and I didn't pay for the fancy shipping. Apple upgraded it to AirborneExpress free of charge. I would expect the same.

Any confirmation of the legitimacy of this being the GM? Apple announced its release date, so speculation points to this build or one very close to it. This entire build process has been different than in the past, or so it seems.

I've noticed that as well. Its a welcome addition, but it was in Build 7B59 as well, for those who haven't upgraded since then.

I got that one some builds when I burned to a CD-RW and booted from either my internal CD/DVD or my FireWire external CD-RW (I can't recall). I re-burned onto a CD-R and booted from the other (holding "C". This build also didn't like the app on the CD for restarting).

Music for 10.3 (and 10.2 if I recall) is: /System/Library/CoreServices/SetupAssistant.app/Contents/Resources/intro-sound.aiff

Also, despite claims that this (85) can't be installed over earlier builds, it went just fine over 7B59 (the latest I had before 7B85, I got busy with work and missed a few).

Many apps I'm sure have used depreciated APIs, Entourage is one, and some of my own are another. Kung-Tunes hasn't worked on Panther since the WWDC build, so obviously some Cocoa, Carbon, and AS APIs have changed. I'm betting on either this (7B85) or another build before the 7B100 series on...

No GM version has ever said "GM" in its About Box, AFAIK. I'll have this later tonight. I've skipped all of the updates since 7B59, so this will be a welcome change.

What about Kung-Tunes? It's been broken since 7B28 or so.

Anyone having problems with their DHCP lease on a Cable modem? I seem to need to get another lease every 15 minutes or else I can't get connected. This is very annoying; just wanted to see if it was a problem for some or just me.
