Yeah, I noticed the state thing, but Illinois is ready and I have it. Still no luck with the Mac Fed. & State update, didn't see anything about the end of Feb. on their site; though it seems to be true, as I tried the PC update just to see if it was only the Mac version, but it didn't work. Oy.

After spending all-in-all $65 for TaxCut Platinum (all they have for Mac now), I can't download the updates. Does anyone know of another place to get the 2002 Mac State and Federal update ASAP? This same thing happened last year, and tech support was not helpful at all.

I LOVE Keynote. I will now use it instead of PowerPoint. I think the way they export to PowerPoint is great: they "downgrade" their transitions to make it look "decent". QuickTime Exporting isn't bad either. I suppose the rest of "Apple Office" could be like this? that would rock. Include it...

Definitly. I thought the same think when I got home from school, before I went to apple.com and saw the NICE new powerbooks and Safari (using it now), Keynote, and all the new iApps.

I am quite happy with Apple's new X11, and hear it is quite a bit faster than XDarwin. So I am wondering if installing the Fink version of KDE is different/needs special instructions and if anyone uses it, how well it works. Thanks, Ryan :D

From what I understand, an iPod Software Update will/could add support for MP4, just as the current one added Smart Playlists and Audible.com support, so really, I have a 10 Gig iPod that «should» be upgradable. Fryke may want to correct me if I misunderstand this. -Ryan

Well, yeah. But I really didn't pay for my iPod. It is a collective amount from Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents, etc. Besides, I've been waiting for one for quite a while (If only it would get off that FedEx flight from Taiwan :D)

I too would wait on Apple products IF you really want the latest and greatest stuff. I really have no need for any new 20 gig or color iPod, so I went ahead and ordered my 10gig (If only it would just get to the states; its on a plane from Taiwan). -Ryan

It's not really the scratches I mind; they are inevitable from what I can tell, and iPod is still a sexy looking MP3 player (to use Steve's phrase from the TiBook :D). I am assuming the Apple iPod case had a space for the screen and wheel, right? The pic @ the AppleStore is from the side.

Thanks fryke. I had been using this for a week or so (after I saw it on your site) and enjoy it alot. I was wondering if anyone had seen any themes that were almost exactly like Rhapsody OS. PS: Congrats on your new mod position.
