I'm in charge of computer maintnence for my school, well just the Macs. But any way, is there a way to lock the HD so kids cant to any thing protatining to the HD. all I want them to do is go to the dock for the Internet, and other small apps. Or do you guys have any other tricks to keep kids...

How about this, what if I ditch WMP. Log out and log back in so all the WMP files (movies) are all blank documents. Then I will open them up and choose VLC or MPlayer as the defalt app, thus causing all WMP downloads to open up using VLC or MPlayer. You think I can do this :confused:

I have a cupple of very funny movies and they are in WMP (Windows Media Player) format. Is ther a way or a program that I can use to read these files, becides WMP bucause it runs so crappy and choppy (prob. because its a microsoft product) any way is there a way :confused: Things I have tried...

I fixed it! It's kinda hard t describe, but here it goes! 1. I took out the battery 2. I plugd in the power 3. I took a paper clip and pushed the hard reset button (batery is still out) 4. I put the battery back in and turned it on 5. Happeness :D From what I can under stand...

Ahhhhhhh!!!!! I CAN'T BELEVE IT!!!! I have the 2 Jag CD's and I can only boot from the 1st one and the same thing happens. Right when the little spinner comes up it just shuts off! But it shows the default boot image, so I know it's trying to start from the CD. I put in the 9 CD to try and start...

You mean to tell me I should not put my user directory on my iPod and then reboot my computer (re install Jag)? Or should I do it? Questions Questions! :D

How about this? What if I plug in my iPod, could I use The Archive and install option and move my user files onto the iPod. I want to make my hole HD one partition, because I don't use 9 any more, and it just takes up space. Is all of this possible :confused:

Nope I an going to do that once I get a hold of the Jag CD. Are you sue that will work? Will it get rid of any thing? Sorry for being like this but I worked many, MANY hours/days/months to get the computer the way I like it and now this :mad: could you give me step by step directions on how to...
