Try a reboot. If that doesn't work delete com.apple.finder.plist and com.apple.sidebarlists.plist files from Home/Library/Preferences folder then reboot.

What sizes were the video files and which email service are you using? I don't know about the others, but gmail has a 25 mb message and attachment limit. Anything over the limit will be bounced back to the sender.
