I tried out the new ipod at macworld ny, mostly cosmetic changes and new touch wheel. was wondering if its going to work with both mac and pc... i know some firewire drives only work on one or the other... anyone know?

i use my pc as my main computer, for everything basically. and my pc is much stronger then any mac :rolleyes: i use my powerbook as my 'school' computer. wireless internet = ownz. where ever i go, my powerbook goes. and its a good thing to have both platforms, since most my classes use...

try some plastic polish, like meguirs (car stuff brand). check out your local auto barn/pep boys, and check their detailing section. polish and wax that ibook. it will be so smoooth and shiney.

anyone else have a real annoying problem swapping their laptop from airport to the internet ethernet? all my classes/dorm/lounge are hooked up wireless (:cool:), but my room isnt... so when i get into my room, i have to MANUALLY change the setting back to ethernet... and even after...

this should be easy, but its not i cant find any setting that will make the folder open up in same window driving me maaaaaad

i just used bristol paper b/c i had some around me. it's also kinda thick, so it wont fold up and tear easily. i kept losing my looseleaf paper cover :)

will that new adapter work with the 'old' powerbooks (g4 500) ? the nifty size is a big +!

i place a full sheet of 'thick' paper (bristol paper) over my keyboard/mouse so it wont affect my screen. had my pbti for like 5 months now, and my screen is still cleeeeean and perfect. :)

anyone know a freeware/shareware program that will make a mac-cd into an .img or .dmg, so i can send it directly to my pc w/o any corruption?

i understand that pumping up the bass on these small g4 speakers could knock them out... but i need more bass when using my headphones.... everything is TOO weak. any know any freeware progs, or mac-winamps with equalizers?
