i dont care if they charge for storage or AV or any of the other crap thats part of .mac srrvices , but giving eveyone a .mac email adress n telling them its free for life, and now charging for them making the excuse their charging because they give u all these features is retarted, n the sad...

thanks alot, VL worked perfectly, ive had vl for a while now using it to play mpeg2 files, but never tried to open up a divx movie, i wish i would have known sooner, now i dont have to use divx dr

thans i have VL but i havent tried it yet, n divx is mpeg4 and ever since 5 qt plays stand alone mp3 vbr but not when its embeded in a divx(mpeg4) movie, but ill try those two apps to se if they work , thanks

you still cant play divx movies with vbr mp3 audio :( that realy sucks since most divx movies are encoded in vbr

yeah , version 0.27 worked like a charm , the only problem with that version that i ever had was sometimes when i would hit the back button on the browser the page would not reload, but thats it, i never had a problem running it, i think this problem might have started after i installed the new...

just tried that, removed the .mozilla folder , also removed eveything related to mozilla n chimera from my system that i could find, then reinstalled chimera, n still same thing :( this really ****s cause i did like chimera, looks like ill have to give omniweb one more chance :mad:

im running osx only, i dont even have os9 installed, and i tried looking for the preference in my library folder within my home dir but i could not find anything related to chimera or witht the name "navigator" , also looked the library dir on my root dir and could not find anything ither...

i tried to run chimera today an all i got was the splash screen and then it closes on me :( it ran on last week but not anymore, i trahsed the old version 0.27 and d/l the new 0.28 , copied it and still nothing, i get the same error "navigator unexpextedly quit" does anyone have the same problem...

could someone help me out here and tell me if there are any benefits in choosing UFS instead of the regular HFS+ ??? is it like comparing ntfs to fat32 ??

thanks, yeah some other people have suggested i use qt streaming server too, that it works on osx (client) not just on server like apple said, so im ganna try that n see what happens

was looking at some info on the darwin streaming server, and looks pretty cool, i just wanted to ask someone, is it easy to use, is it like a stand alone app and does apple have an already compiled version for d/l cause if they do i cant find it.
