Doesn't matter. What Intel is trying to do is help spur industry design. They are trying to get the other manufacturers to design new, flashy boxes, so Intel can push more processors as they are feeling their sales dip.

Sure, the growth is slowing down. Makes sense. The hype surrounding its release has also died down. What we want is for the download rate to stay consistant. What I would worry about is if the number of downloads stops completely. But it is still getting a high rate of downloads. It takes time.

Well, try those things recommended above, as well as clearing your cache. Repairing permissions is going to be something that you'll want to do occassionaly for general maintenance anyway. If none of that works, then there are some 3rd party tools that these guys here know about that should do...

Pretty straight forward. Go to your 'Applications' folder then to 'Utilities', then selec 'Disk Utility". Pick your harddrive and repair permissions. If that doesn't help, search on the forum on a how-to to start in single user mode and run fsck (i think).

The iPods were just updated. Even if you wait 4-5 months, a new one will be released in 6-8 months after. If you really want one now, go ahead and get one. You can always ebay it and buy another. Otherwise you may always be waiting for the next release.

I believe it is actually the iPod mini that has been their biggest seller. I heard that somewhere, that they sell 2 or 3 mini's for every 1 regular iPod.

Probably not anytime soon. Maybe middle of next year. The problem with the cell processor is that Apple would have to recompile the entire OS, etc to run on the cell processor. We've got some time still for that.
