Which kind of display do you prefer and why? Since i found out that smoothed text (Mac OS X Quartz) looks much better on my 15" CRT than on my little iBook (12") i don’t really know...

Apple says that a 15" LCD (iMac) has the same viewing area as an 17" CRT - how can this be? I thought an inch measures size... huh Does that mean that the iMac Display is actually bigger than my old 15" CRT??

It is not difficult to see if your app is carbon If there is anywhere an blinking default button just position the cursor somewhere where is no control - then press the mousebutton and keep it - if the button stops to animate it’s carbon - or else it’s cocoa!

I think the easiest way to do is using an Applescript tell Application "Dock" to quit tell Application "Dock" to quit Note: You have to write the line 2 times or the dock will restart automatical - it also depends on your version of OSX if it works

I think that smoothed type under Mac OS X looks better on my CRT than it looks on my iBook Screen - it seems that the Type seems more smoothly on the CRT and to crisped and - in my opinion - errorneos on the iBook LCD - is there something i could do about this? Does it also look so worse on...
