actually there is a "switch user" button under the password field after the screensaver requires a password - I'll see if my 3yr old can get her head around it tomorrow morning.

You can under multiple users, you can switch to the login screen but are still logged in under the current session with all your open work files etc in place. I simply want this to happen after a certain amount of inactivity.

Hi bobw I don't want to forcibly logout as often I'll have open documents. I just want the computer returned to the multiple users login screen and simply require a password from me to carry on working in the same session, but allow other to login and do their own stuff if need be.
