    You've definately got a permissions error. Different users should be the owners of their own home directories. If you have problems with simultaneous logins with the same user, then you need to check the "allow simultaneous login on managed computers option"

    It's possible that one of your ISPs DNS Servers is down. Try changing the order of the servers or use a different DNS Server. Network DNS timeouts can cause what appears to be a "freeze"

    Your user account appears to have lost the connection to its home directory. Try creating a different admin user account and logging in as that user. Does the situation resolve itself? If so, then that's probably the issue. BTW, the repair permissions process won't fix your home directories...

    Donna, it sounds like you have typical database corruption. Backup your Microsoft User Data folder (in your Documents Folder--make a copy) and then launch Entourage with the option key down. Choose "Advanced Rebuild" and go have a beverage. When it's done, you're mailboxes should be improved.

    Chaging authentication methods in the mail service settings in Server Admin can affect SquirrelMail. Double check to make sure you haven't disabled any.
