MisterMe I have a MBP from july 08 and the printers are a Brother MFC 7820N and a Canon S6300. Those have worked with Leopard so they should with SL? No downside just seems so perfect!

Fryke You might be right when it comes to large files(and not having a good pipeline). If I want to convert a plan or drawing from tiff to jpeg that system as suggested by falconrs is very much adequate!
