    Package File Shown as a Folder?

    I have experienced a problem recently. Probably after the update to 10.1 or the latest security patch. All the package files (.pkg) are shown as a folder instead of a single package file. Has anyone experienced the same thing or know a fix for it? Thanks in advance.

    shutdown the system from the BSD Subsystem

    The shutdown command typed in the terminal doesn't seem to shutdown the system. Instead it reboots the system. Any idea how I can turn off the system from the command line? Thanks. -harry

    re:Kodak DC290 Camera and the new OS X Update

    Well, it seems that the new OS X update solves my image download problem from the Kodak DC 290 camera I mentioned few days ago. Now, as soon as I plug in the camera and set it to the "Connect" mode, the images get downloaded instantly.

    Kodak DC290 in Image Capture

    According to Kodak's web site, the Image Capture application coming w/ OS X is supposed to work with DC290. I plugged in the camera to my the USB port on the keyboard, but Image Capture can't seem to find it. Does anyone have a different result? Thanks.
