I've just received a large collection of slides for a five days presentation prepared in PowerPoint 2000 for windows. Now, the finder (the info window) recognizes these files as a PowerPoint presentation, but when opening them with PowerPoint X I get a message saying they are in an unreadable...

I just found that a few applications (see the image) are now seen by finder as documents. On the other hand, they seem to work normally, nor did I notice any other inconvenience. How can I get them back to their real type?

:mad: Does anybody know how to save an entire web site on local hard disk in a way that Internet Explorer 5.1 recognize as "local"? If I use the "save as" and the relevant option what I get is a series of files which still points to the original http://... address! I'm really getting mad!

I hate to have the dock located bottom-center, and I'm using Docking Maneuvers to relocate it top-right ... but any time I restart my PB it goes back to the original position. This is very inconvenient. Does anybody know how to permanently SAVE a different location preference? Franco Franchi...
