yeah, just like ra3ndy said, you will only encounter problems with the music you purchased within iTunes. And for another method, if you only plan to upload just a single playlist with all of the music she wants on it then just make a regular playlist, name it whatever you want and just plug in...

Look at the second tutorial I posted. It has the most common resolutions the iPod can accept.

What resolution was it in? Sometimes even if it doesn't exceed the pixel count there are some resolutions that aren't supported by the iPod.

I actually think that way also, so you're not alone lol. But the best ones in my opinion have the silicone shell because it has a good grip to it and absorbs quite a bit of shock.

I say just be patient and wait it out. There is a chance that there will be a better video player coming down the line anyways. Dont risk ruining your gift. Plus I never understood why anybody would want to watch video on that tiny screen. That's just me though.

As for the movies messing up the battery, it doesnt get messed up, it just drains the battery more because it has to access the hard drive a lot. The files are huge compared to music. And I also say that you should keep your music on both your iPod and your computer. Just keeping it on the iPod...

Now this is just me, but I dont mind getting a brand new product at no charge. Not only do I not have to mess with the iPod (with a chance of me ruining it) but it's brand spanking new. It seems a little more convenient to me. I dont waste money on a new battery and I get a brand new iPod.

I recommend the iSkin Evo's. Not as bulky but has great protection. But not as protective as an otterbox.

The computers even look fake to me. Looks like a really awsome photoshop job. Just look at the chrome wheels on some of the towers and the gradients on the towers themselves. Light doesnt shine like that. Maybe even some Illustrator work was also done.

Just remember that when you reformat your iPod you lose your music that is in it.

We've just been saying that it's slower. But since Ive been using firewire, USB 2.0 doesnt even come close to being super fast for me.
