    Apple doesnt want your ideas

No, I am just saying that Apple is being jerks right now. With the .mac and proprietary software it's just mean. They are selling Open Source, that sounds really funny. I havent given any ideas for Apple, I would write my own software. The head of FreeBSD went to Apple for the money, duh...

    Apple doesnt want your ideas

Yea, but it hurts the whole UNIX standpoint. I have been in the UNIX community for a long time. One of the reasons I moved to OS X is because it is UNIX based. You have to understand that in the UNIX community, we share everything, and everybody gets credit. If Apple is going to be as such...

    New hardware ethernet troubles

As a network/computer administrator, I would say they are just plain and simple bad nics, or either legacy 10BT Nics. You may also be trying to run them on a network that is not 10/100. I know there are problems like that sometimes when you are using Cisco switched and a 100Only network...

    Should I upgrade?

I have a PowerBook G3 with 192M Ram in it. I was wondering if it is beneficial for me to upgrade to OS X or stay with 9.1 which is on it. I like what I see about OS X. If it is anything like UNIX, it will be easy since my job is UNIX Administration. I just dont know if this will allow me...
