I have a 15" High Res and my right fan according to istat is always @ 0rpm, might be something wrong with istat?

I think it could be a faulty battery, try using someone elses batt or a new one and see if that fixes the issue.

What about if you try iMove 08 it will recognise the USB Connection :-)
