    AppleCare Cares Nothing For Downtime

Tons of companies already do exactly this. You give them your credit card number, they next day you a replacement part and you have 30 days to return the defective one before your credit card will be billed. It's very easy and it keeps customer's happy.

    Bluetooth and Nokia 3650

I have the Nokia 3650 and I had some problems syncing at first, but I worked them out. The main issue would arrise if the two devices (my laptop and the phone) were not paired. After you enable the bluetooth connection on the phone, go to the bluetooth status in the menu bar and select like...

    Apple Should ...

An Apple gaming system would be awesome, but I think they'd have a really hard time getting developers to make games. It would be hard to enter the gaming market now especially since the PS3 and Xbox 2 are already in the works and should be out in the next few years. -Juxel

    Wanted: iMac 233 or better

I have a bondi blue iMac but it's in pieces and it's missing the modem and hard drive. If you need any parts or anything let me know and I'll see what I can do. -Juxel

VNC: is there a user guide ? :p

Actually Remote Desktop comes standard on Windows XP, at least the professional edition, and the connection client for OS X is completely free. It works great, but VNC sounds like it allows you to do more. You can't control both ways with Remote Desktop and they don't have a Java client. The...

    hows this look so far?

Might want to try putting the contact information at the bottom of the page and maybe look into getting a different email address. @yahoo.com doesn't always look the greatest for business. -Juxel

10.04???? is it my mac or.........

You're applications might not work correctly on OS X because you're going to need to get the updated versions of them. You should be able to run most applications through the Classic environment though without much problem. -Juxel

    PC on my Airport network?

The only thing that you have to make sure of is that you buy an 802.11b card for the PC and not a 802.11a or g card. Other than that you should be set. -Juxel

Airport Extreme Questions I need Help Please.

The benefit that you would have gotten with the Airport Extreme is that you would have 802.11g instead of b. If you aren't doing a lot of file transfers or anything it should be a big deal though. Glad you're happy with what you got. -Juxel

Looking for an external DVD burner, any recommendations?

I have a Pioneer A04 in a firewire external case that I love. Try checking out www.pricewatch.com and just find a tried and true burner in an external case. It's the best route to go IMO. -Juxel

    Mail Problem

I do internet tech support and a lady called in with a problem today that has me kind of perplexed. She has 10.2.4 and is when she is trying to compose a message to a certain person and starts to type in the name of the person it comes up with the name and e-mail address, but it does so very...

Feeling Left out with out a Mac Store

I live near two great Apple Stores and the nicest thing about having easy access to them is that they will help you if you're having problems. Recently my "R" key broke off of my TiBook keyboard (the plastic piece that goes up and down actually broke so it wasn't going to just work magically)...

    DO NOT buy a ti-book

I've been having problems with the indicator light as of late. The power works just fine, but the light will flicker or change from green to amber when it's fully charged. It always says that it's plugged in and there are no problems, but the stupid thing keeps blinking and it is very...

    Connect to Server

Mine seems to work fine for SMB and Appleshare when I'm booted up normal, so it shouldn't be a bug. Are you running 10.2.4? If not, try updating to that. Also, you could try trashing the internet preferences. -Juxel

VNC: is there a user guide ? :p

If the PC is running XP you should try Remote Desktop. The software is already installed on the PC, and then you can download the client for OS X from Microsoft's website. It gives you full control and it's very fast. I use it for my PC that's like 3 feet from my TiBook 'cause I'm lazy, and I...

cant get on the net in OSX,cross connection?!?!?

I looked a little bit at this and it appears that your modem is a DSL modem, correct? With the DSL modem you shouldn't have to install any special drivers for it if you are connecting it via ethernet. Some modems you can connect via USB, but most will be via ethernet. All you should have to...

    Firewire problems on Powerbook

The firewire hard drive that I have gets the power from the firewire port so it's hooked up and then the power comes on. My friend has an enclosure, much like the one you are describing and we've unhooked it from him computer and hooked it up to mine without turning it off and we haven't had...
