10.1.2 combo problems

I have a lime iMac DV 400 with Mac OS X 10.1

I used to have 10.1.5 but it crashed twice and had to reformat.
Than reinstalled 10.1

I'm trying to install the 10.1.2 combo update but the installer
says i need the installer update.

Downloaded it from apple's site and used the 7-18-02 sec update.

So how come the main drive is greyed out since im up to par on the updates?

You have to download the latest combo update. If this was downloaded before 7-18-02, it will no longer work, You must download a new combo-update. That leaves you with just 10.1.5 Reason for failure, the 7-18-02 security update mostly disables older updates
