10.2.8 and Stuffit Expander

I cannot use Stuffit Expander since in upgraded to 10.2.8. Anybody else had the same problem ?

I tried version 7.0.1 and 7.0.3

I just downloaded v8... seems ok. Maybe something go corrupted.

How come you can't use it? What does it do? Does it crash? Does it launch all the way and then crash? Did it do anything funny before 10.2.8? Have you tried installing the 10.2.8 COMBO updater? Repairing permissions? Fsck'ing your disk?

It just launched for a few seconds and crashed.

I updated from 10.2.6 with the Software Update tool.

your "what" hasn't crashed since upgrading to "which" upgrade?
You do realize the thread you posted this in is 9 years old I hope?

its an ibook g4 year model 2003. im not sure which version of the upgrade it was, but im pretty sure it was the newest free update of stuffit expander. when i try to open things that have been put on my computer since then it says they are on a locked folder. but yes i realized its old after posting.

Check out the free app: "The Unarchiver". Works faster and isn't bloatware as Stuffit is.
