10.5.2 hang on Configuring Installation...

Hi everyone,

I tried updating my Leopard install from 10.5.1 to 10.5.2, interestingly though I couldn't because every time I tried restarting the machine it would hang on the configuration box.

If I press Apple command + Q it seems to shut of the application and then log me off my account allowing me to log back in. The first time, I tried waiting almost 30 minutes, and the other two times I waited about 10 minutes. Never had this problem before when I was updating to 10.5.1.

Anyone have any form of advice please?
 
Do an Archive & Install, this will save your data in a special folder. Then apply the 10.5.2 Combo. But backup before you do any of this.

Doing all this will be better for the long run and you shouldn't loose any data, but backup first to be safe.
