I have an imac G5, 1GB memory running OS X 10.3.9 and have tried to install Leopard 10.5 but it is saying that my computer cannot install it. I was informed before that this particular iMac can take up to 10.5.6 so am not sure what's wrong? Any suggestions?

How big is your HD, and how much is left available? (Open your HD on desktop and it'll show at bottom of window.)

68gb. Should I erase everything? It doesnt have much on it, its 2nd hand and i've never put anything I need on it. Any help appreciated.

Are you are getting a message "This software cannot be installed on this computer?" - And is your 10.5 DVD grey (part of a 2-DVD set from another Mac?)
If that's the case, then erasing the hard drive will not help, because you have a restore DVD designed to install on only one Mac model.
