2 discs jammed in slot of iMac G5 (2009)

I had put a cd into the slot on the side of my mac. By the time it had taken the disc, I had realized there was another disc already in there. However, Mac never showed there to be a present disc.

You can hear the machine attempting to kick the disc's out however no luck.
What can I do! How much to be repaired!

Luckily the iMac G5s were considered to be user serviceable unless you have the isight version. You unplug everything from the machine. Lay the machine on its face on a table where the display will not get damaged. There are 3 phillips head screws on the bottom of the machine which need to be loosened. Once you loosen those screws the back cover comes right off. The optical drive is held in by 3-4 phillips screws. Once you get the optical drive out you can remove the top cover off of the optical drive by removing four small phillips screws. Carefully lift up the cover and remove the stuck disks.

Also, the OP has not explained what an iMac G5 (2009) is...
newly purchased used iMac G5?
New iMac this year (not a G5, but some posters like to add that 'G5' moniker to any Mac....)?
Something in-between?

Where are you, Daniel_2541? We want to help, but need some info.
