A screen measure tool on Mac OS

I hope to measure some screen objects,but I can not find a practical tools under Mac OS.
Is there somebody give me some advice?

I see you've been using some "old way" apps to measure elements on screen. Please take a look at this: http://pixf.it

It's a little app that I've developed alone a couple of weeks ago and is available on the Mac App Store. It does amazing things when it comes to measuring. Hope you like it more than "rulers"
