adjust zip archive options for OS X built in zip compression

Now that OS X has built in zip compression does anybody know a way to see any options for this feature. I'm looking to see things like compression level and the like can be adjusted.

Any help is appreciated,

If you mean the contextual menu item "Create Archive of "blah blah", then no, there is no GUI part to adjust the settings.

You can always create .zip archives with the command line, and then you'd have complete control over the compression level and various settings.
 
That is what I was wondering exactly. Thanks!!
Using command line and how to call it with applescript is where I will go next. Any suggestions on how to put these two together?
