Advice on shipping

I hope this is the right place to ask this.

I'm going to sell my g4 and 17 inch studio display (crt) monitor. I don't have the original boxes and packing material. Does anyone have any advice on where to buy stuff to pack them? Wheres the cheapest and does anyone have a box lying around for a G4 tower? :)

UPS or Mailboxes Plus (or any place that does business and personal shipping) is a good bet for info about packing stuff for shipment :)
 
um ok let me be more specfic.

does anyone have experience shipping as heavy as things as these? I know that some places pack them for you to send but not sure if anyone had experience with that.
 
I sent a 6500 once. Get a very heavy box that is at least two inches wider than the machine and four inches higher. If you can find styrofoam sheets, maybe a hardware center, pack that in the spaces very tight. ON the bottom, cut the material to fit two inches high. As long as it's packed very tight, you should have no problem. Make sure you get insurance when shipping.
