I'm currently using ID 2.0.2 and Jaguar (10.2.8 on a G4 dual 1.25 GHz) but intending to upgrade both. Problem is, I am swamped with work at the moment and haven't got a great deal of time to spend finding my way around new stuff.
The second problem is that, since the last Jag. software update, ID has been flaky in the extreme. I've done all the maintenance, trashing, preference repairing and DiskWarrioring processes I can think of, but ID still frequently hangs (at least once and sometimes more a working day) and locks up the whole machine, for no reason that I can discover I can't replicate the problem necessitating a hard reboot every time.
So an upgrade of something seems to be called for (unless anyone has any other ideas), but which? Should I move on to IDCS first and stick with Jaguar, or upgrade to Panther and stick with ID 2.0.2. (Doing both at once would be a bridge too far for my overloaded brain and patience, I suspect.)
