Ahh a problem!!

Check your keyboard settings in System Preferences-->Keyboard & Mouse. It's possible that maybe the keyboard mapping was changed somehow.

it would be nice if you tell us how you solve the problem, so that way the mac user can find a way to solve that kind of problem without asking the forum.

I'm guessing that now the problem is that he solved it himself and doesn't know how to share the solution. ;)

What happened is that somehow the international section of the sys. preferences got switch to a french keyboard, all I had to do was turn it back.

Just for future reference, it's best to leave your original post alone and simply post a follow-up message stating that the problem was resolved. That way, people searching the forums for similar problems can read the progression of troubleshooting from start to finish and hopefully resolve their own problems without having to start a new thread.

As it is now, you completely removed the actual problem itself, so anyone searching for a similar problem will never know how to resolve it unless they post a new thread on the same problem and have it troubleshot and answered all over again.

The worst thing about this is that everytime I read the thread's title, it sounds to me as if someone was actively *looking* for a problem. ;) "Ahh! *FINALLY* I've found a problem! I've been looking all over my Mac for one." ;)
