Airport Express / Printer question

Can I connect any printer to an Airport Express thingy or does the printer have to be a specific "network" type printer?

I currently have a HP PSC 2175 All-In-One, and while I understand that using the scanner component would be a "No-no", would it still print?
 
From my understanding, any USB-based printer that works with Mac OS X's USB Printer Sharing should work with Airport Express.

That's probably a good assessment of Airport Express <-> USB Printer compatibility -- if you can hook it up to your Mac via USB and share it, there's a damn good chance it'll work with Airport Express.
 
all I had to do to make my HP photo-not-so-Smart printer to work was to first connect it to my G4 and install provided drivers and then I connected the printer to the Airport station and selected it from the Printer Setup utility.
