I managed to take my Airport completely out of commision.
Now it won't let me turn it on or off it simply says that it is Inactive. When I click on the Airport status button at the top of my screen it says not configured.
The reason I started doing any of this in the first place was because my network wasn't being detected by airport. everytime I try to connect to my network when it is actually visible airport says i have the wrong password. I reset my linksys router just to be sure and still nothing
I have tried going into the network utility to fix this with no luck. I have run the diagnostics assistance and that didn't help. I even downladed the firmware/driver from linksys for my specific modem, then deleted it because it didn't help at all. If anything it is what cause my airport to turn off. Help!

my router is a linksys WRT160N that up until a couple of days ago was working fine.
the internet works fine when I am plugged into my router directly. My Modem is working fine with all the right lights on.
