Anyone using OpenOSX Wintel for Mac OSX?

I've been using VirtualPC for a long time and was wondering if anyone has compared it against OpenOSX's Wintel for Mac OSX product? Which is faster, more stable, easier to configure, etc?

I didn't get any hits when searching for OpenOSX Wintel for OSX or variations thereof. A search on Version Tracker showed some feedback, mostly negative. I also found that Blue Emulator (?) doesn't support OS X yet.

redptc, search for "bochs" and you'll find the threads Sam was referring to.

Here's one that I don't think we've talked about - Blue Label (http://www.lismoresoft.com/).

Does anyone know anything about it? Based on the website I'm guessing it's made by a guy and his dog, but then again I own some GREAT software written by one guy, and it's always nice to have more options... =)

Well, it looks cool, but it needs to be updated for Windows (NT 4, 2000, ME, XP), not just OS X.

I would bet that software is based on bochs, as writing an emulator from scratch would take some massive effort.

Bochs is SLOW SLOW SLOW. I would bet that Blue Label is slow as well -- since it only supports Windows through 98, which, I believe, is the same as bochs.

VirtualPC is our only decent solution for the time being. :(
