Recently I reinstalled OS X.2.8. I am having trouble activating the interactive spelling checker in Spell Catcher X. I am following instructions on installation. Since Cassidy & Greene is no longer in business, I can get no help from them via support or user groups.
After doing the installation I am supposed to open the application. It is supposed to ask for my serial number before the interactive spelling checke can be activated. But I get no such question asking for anything thus no interactivity. Might they have known they were going out of business and put some kind of code in the cd that disables the service after a certain time.
Any ideas how to activate interactive spell cathing in Spell Catcher X? Is ther any other interactive spell checkers that you can recommend?
